Q: Why have Nike and the LAF partnered?
A: As a tribute to Lance Armstrong's inspirational fight against cancer as well as his historic attempt at a sixth Tour de France win, the LAF and Nike launched the Wear Yellow LiveSTRONG™ campaign last month. Nike will donate $1 million to the Foundation and is leading efforts to raise an additional $5 million through the sale of yellow wristbands engraved with Lance's mantra, Live Strong. All proceeds will benefit LAF programs that help young people with cancer live strong.
Q: Where can I buy a yellow wristband?
A: Wristbands can be purchased for $1 in quantities of 10, 100 or 1200 at the LAF On-line Store. All proceeds benefit LAF.
Q: What will the money raised be used for?
A: Funds raised will support the LAF's efforts help young people with cancer and their family members live strong.

Q: Why won't the LAF on-line store work with my Mac computer?
A: We are currently experiencing difficulties with Mac users being unable to access the site. We apologize for this inconvenience, and want to let you know that we are working to correct this as quickly as possible. As we work to resolve this situation, we have learned that the LAF store can be accessed using the Safari Web Browser on Mac OSX. In addition, we have found that the store works using Camino – the pre-installed browser for the Mac – on all Macs.
Q: How long will it take to get my order from the LAF store?
A: Currently, orders ship from our warehouse 1-2 business days after they are placed. In addition, please note that your credit card will be charged when you place your order. Essentially this will help us hold your place in line to receive your order, just as airlines or hotels charge your card to hold your reservation.
Q: I requested overnight shipping for my order? Why did it not arrive overnight?
A: Please note that there is a shipping delay of 1-2 business days for all orders, even those for which expedited shipping is requested. When our warehouse gets to your order, we will then ship it overnight as opposed to regular shipping.
Q: When will the LAF store be replenished with LIVESTRONG™ T-shirts and other LAF merchandise?
A: We have been very fortunate to receive thousands of orders - per day - at the LAF on-line store. We are constantly working to refill the inventory as well as add new and exciting items to the store. Thank you for your support and check back often!
Q: Why can't I place an order over the phone?
A: Our e-commerce system is not currently set up to take orders over the phone. We understand that not all customers have access to the Internet. We may adapt our system to allow us to take orders over the phone in the future.
Q: Can I use "LIVESTRONG™" for my organization or project?
A: LIVESTRONG™ is trademarked by the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF). It may not be used without written consent from the LAF.
Q: Can I resell LIVESTRONG™ yellow wristbands?
A: LIVESTRONG™ wristbands may NOT be resold. They are not packaged for resale. There are significant state fundraising registration laws and tax and non-profit accounting issues that prevent their legal re-sell.
Q: I have seen them priced from $1 on up - how much are they?
A: LIVESTRONG™ wristbands sell for $1 plus sales tax. Sales tax must be charged and collected by local governments because the wristband is classified as merchandise. Official retailers of Live Strong™ wristbands may sell wristbands for $1 ONLY and not in combination with any other store promotion or policy. Abuse of this policy should be reported to the LAF.
Q: Where does the money go from the sale of the LIVESTRONG™ yellow wristbands?
A: All proceeds earned from the sale of LIVESTRONG™ wristbands will benefit the LAF. Proceeds may NOT benefit any other organization or private enterprise.
Q: Can I auction yellow wristbands to generate even more funds?
A: Please do not sell your LIVESTRONG™ wristband on eBay or any other auction Web site. It is an abuse of a valid fundraising campaign for a non-profit organization - the LAF - and, frankly, unethical.
Q: What are the wristbands made of?
A: LIVESTRONG™ wristbands are made from 100% synthetic silicon rubber. LIVESTRONG™ wristbands are not edible.
