Q: What is LIVESTRONG™?

A: LIVESTRONG™ is the LAF's comprehensive resource for cancer survivors and an educational program of the LAF. Live Strong provides resources that can help cancer survivors understand some of the physical, emotional and practical topics that may apply to their survivorship experience. This information can help cancer survivors and their caregivers advocate for themselves and participate in making decisions with their health care team. Visit Live Strong at www.livestrong.org.

Q: How is LIVESTRONG™ associated with the LAF?

A: LIVESTRONG™ is a program of the LAF, created to educate cancer survivors, their friends and family, and health care professionals about topics of cancer survivorship.

A: LIVESTRONG™ is for all cancer survivors, their loved ones and health care professionals to learn about topics related to cancer survivorship. The survivorship topics addressed by LIVESTRONG™ are geared towards cancer survivors who have completed active treatment for their cancer diagnosis.

Q: How can I use LIVESTRONG™ information?

A: The information in LIVESTRONG™ is intended to create awareness of survivorship topics; it is not intended to replace formal medical care. If you are concerned about any survivorship topics you read about on Live Strong, please discuss these topics with your health care team.
