They organize the Tour of Hope, a cross country bike ride to raise awareness of the Lance Armstrong Foundation and cancer research. In addition to sponsoring activities at the Ride for the Roses weekend Subaru also sponsored the Drive to Survivor tour in early 2004, which was a nationwide effort to capture images of cancer survivors, patients and their families.

The John Wayne Cancer Foundation was established in 1985 to advance the fight against cancer by supporting research, treatment and education.
